Should I start taking spirulina?
Try drinking Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness juice. It contains a good amount of spirulina, plus lots of other good for you stuff. You get a ton of phytonutrients from it. It’s great with your breakfast cereal because the vitamin C in it will help you absorb the iron from the cereal, and it doesn’t have a lot of sugar like fruit juices do. There aren’t any negative effects to spirulina or the powder supplement, but I prefer the juice because it offers so much more benefits and it gives you energy in the morning and a couple serving of vegetables.
