Should i stop breastfeeding and if so how?

If you are feeling this way you really need to get out and about. It dosnt mean you have to stop breastfeeding though. Have you tried pumping? You could even take the pump and go to a freinds house and pump there around the time you would normally feed baby this will stop you getting engorged. Or you could start doing things where you take baby with you. Join a mothers group, playcenter, a music group, a walking group. Look into it they are lots of fun and a great way to get out of the house and socialise with other adults. If you do want to stop breastfeeding I would recommend doing it gradually. Start giving bubs a bottle of forumula a day and then two bottles etc. Cold turkey will get you very engorged and may even lead to mastitis. Good luk and if you dont start feeling better soon it might be postnatal depression. Please talk to a doctor asap if this is the case. Merry christmas and good luck EDIT; by the way some people are just leakers. I leak alot too and my baby is 6 months.

You don’t have to stop breastfeeding, just pump the milk, so the baby will have it & you can get out. As far as the leaking problem, you can get bra pads that are like round maxi pads ( sorry thats the best way to describe them) that you putinto your bras. You do need to get out. Even if you have to bring the breast-pump with you, you can do so. It takes like 10-15 minutes per side to pump. You NEED to get out, and to get away from the baby once in a while, that doesnt mean tat you love your baby any less. gl!
