A-4.4) The mana regen proc in Moonkin form is “normalized” by weapon speed. The normalization is based on the probability of the proc to occur, not the amount of mana returned on a proc. For this reason, all weapons should return over the same amount of time being swung about the same amount of mana regenned. I feel it is important to note, however, that due to the way spellcasting interrupts the swing-timer of Moonkin, it is likely that you will swing a faster weapon more times than a slower weapon, thus providing a slight advantage to the faster weapon in long term mana regeneration.
