Should I use a pommel with a padded knee strap or kneeblocks for knee positioning in standing?

We offer both solutions. Originally we only offered kneeblocks, but then experimented with a padded knee strap in combination with a pommel. We then realized that it worked as well if not better than kneeblocks for a majority of clients, especially those with normal to lower tone in the lower extremities. The padded knee strap and pommel is easier to understand and use for caregivers. It is easier to place the client initially with this arrangement also.
