Should Joe Paterno suspend Casey?
I think he should. Kirk Herbstreit: If Joe Paterno suspends Rashard Casey, he would go against everything he has stood for in all his years of coaching. He believes in his players. He is tough on his players and when he pulls them aside behind closed doors and asks them about a controversial issue, he expects to be told the truth. And when Casey told JoePa his side of the story, JoePa obviously heard enough to believe in his player. I applaud him for standing by Casey until he is found guilty. I don’t think it has anything to do with him being the starting QB that he has not been suspended. He could have been a backup guard and I think Joe still would have stood behind his player.
