Should lawn maintenance people be tipped?
I used to be a lawn maintanence person (I like to call it landscaper). I don’t think I’ve ever received a tip for it. That does not indicate bad work on my part because I did good work. But I would say most lawn maintenence workers would not expect a tip. Of course if you feel like it would be good to tip him/her by all means go ahead (I’m sure I would have welcomed it). If nothing else, I’m sure the man or woman looks extremely hot and sweaty, offer him/her something to drink.
