Should melafix help a clouded eye?
I doubt anything contaminated your tank or it would affect both eyes, not just one and would affect any other fish in the tank. I really wouldn’t encourage you to do a daily water change, just one nice big one before you start the treatment. I have had limited sucess with Melafix. If you catch the problem very early and treat right away it seems to help but in my experience if the problem gets bad it becomes more than Melafix can handle. That’s just my personal experience though. It might be worth a try for a few days, but I would be ready to treat with other medications in case it didn’t work.
