Should parents start being held accountable for their failings?

I agree with Buddha. With a lot of the younger parents today they were never taught discipline and respect. We are now into the second generation of bad parents and the only chance of correcting this is to enforce parenting classes, most of them are on benefits anyway. If these people don’t want to learn how to instill respect and decency into their children then only give them stamps instead of money to pay for essentials. If only 10% learns the lesson then that has got to be worthwhile. Allowing schools to discipline them is also a must. Children have to be taught to respect others or otherwise this problem will get much worse.
