Unlike allot of other vines (like grapes), no Passionfruit vine should be pruned unless it is completely necessary. The new growth is the only way the Passionfruit vine can keep growing, if you prune it you will be setting the vine back months or years and stressing the vine unnecessary. The Passionfruit vine should keep growing over and back over itself for the rest of it's life.
