No, for Medicare purposes, 90471 should never be used for the administration of Influenza or Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccines. Only G0008 is to be used for the admimistration of Influenza vaccine, and only G0009 is to be used for the administration for Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccine.
