Should Softball enact an “innings pitched” rule for pitchers?

I don’t agree with you at all. You shouldn’t limit a great player from playing if they’re good. Most people can’t pitch underhand, so you’re only going to get one or two pitchers per team. It really doesn’t hurt to throw underhand as much as overhand. Our pitcher pitched 8 games in one day at the state tournament. She threw over 800 pitches in the tournament and her arm was perfectly fine. It seems as though the only people that want this rule are the people that have to play against a team with a very dominant pitcher. No one wants to have to lose to a team for four years in a row because their pitcher knows seven pitches and can pitch in the mid-60s. But you shouldn’t make a rule so that the team without the really good pitcher can win. You’ll most likely only get one of these pitchers (at your school) once. You have to use her while you have her.
