Should the capitalist economies start looking out for communist and socialistic ways of dealing with the deteriorating economy?

Hi Siddhart, I believe communism has collapsed and is on life support. Even China is increasingly more capitalist, and Cuba is jumping to get rid of the communist curse. Socialism is an interim solution towards full-blown capitalism. The USA is still the world’s largest economy, by far. It has gained that status because of its capitalist foundations. I lived in Holland, a Democratic-Socialist country since decades, for many years (almost 28 years before moving abroad). And while I like the Dutch model, there is still lots to be improved qua economy and business. If you’re talking about social issues such as universal healthcare and free public schools, I believe the USA is on its way to take care of its sick, young, old, jobless and pennyless.
