Should the dentist pay all costs for correcting a defective crown?

0

In my career I have had occasions where the crown was defective. If it failed after 2 or 3 years, the lab re made the crown for no charge and I also did not charge anything. So the patient was not charged anything. It is unfortunate but sometimes it happens and the patient has to go through the procedure again through no fault of their own. At least they should not be charged. Anyway this was our policy. Your dentist may not agree. Good luck.
