Should the ELITE STINGRAY 5 small blow out air bubbles?
That’s what they do; it’s for the time being working exactly as it should. You don’t need bubbles, just surface agitation and it does that. The bad thing is that piece of foam in the tail soon becomes blocked and you spend a lot of time cleaning this particular brand of filter. When you buy a complete setup, this is one of the favourite bits of junk they give you. I’m not a great fan of Stingray filters a Junior Box Filter powered by a small air pump is better in the long term, but as you have one get your moneys worth out of it.
