Should the Glass Steagall Act be resurrected and toughened?

This was selected as Best Answer Resurrected yes, don't know if toughened needed. Not having it was a major reason why we are now in a Great Recession. Not having it was a major reason whey we had a Great Depression. What needs toughening is Congressional understanding of this, so they less likely to yield to lobbyists of the organizations that profited in, and welcomed, these great disasters.  more
