Should the homeless be blamed for their plight?

No. Alot of homeless people are victims of diseases, mental illness and other things that caused them to be out on the streets. They are not the stereotypical drunks and panhandlers some people assume they are. I think if their stories were known a majority of them should be helped and not blamed for circumstances that were often not caused by anything they actually did, such as being a drug addict or an alcoholic.
