Should the NHS pay for Heroin shooting galleries throughout the UK..??
This experiment in heroin treatment comes after a six month study in pockets of London. Because crime rates fell in them six months of giving scag’s their fix in a needle, the powers that be have deemed it the right method of treatment. But if you want someone to give up a habit, isn’t giving them their habit fuel preventing them from doing just that. Ok so they don’t have to shoplift to get their fix money, cause it’s being paid for by the taxman, but they aren’t getting off the substance either, so when the money runs out or another Government think it’s a waste of money, then these addicts, who can have longevity on the substance will go back to their thieving ways. Also isn’t heroin a class A drug and therefore illegal to be given out by anyone or are their rules for one and rules for another. The money that is being used to fund this hair brain scheme also means many truly ill people are being denied treatment like E.G Herceptin for breast cancer. Beccy (Ali never gets a chance!)
