Should the world allow whales to be hunted to extinction?
I don’t think anything should be hunted to extinction. I also don’t think crazy activists are doing the right thing by throwing glass bottles of acid at Japanese sailors and ramming their ships. That will not change anything. The only way to fix this is to put political pressure on Japan as well as other whale hunting countries to create stricter laws on the practice, and to educate the people in the country as to why the harvesting of whales to the extent that they are being harvested is a bad idea. Notice I didn’t say that hunting whales is bad, just hunting them to the extent that they are endangered. Hopefully with time and education, people will discontinue their support for the industry by not buying its products.
