Should Tim Tebow play in the East-West Shrine Game?
Gators QB Tim Tebow has been invited to play in the East-West Shrine college all-star game in Orlando in January. It is obvious his presence here would give the game and the city a huge lift. The question is — should he accept? Generally, the top prospects for the NFL draft stay away from college all-star games, and instead rely on their own pro day workouts and the NFL Combine to impress scouts. But Tebow is in an unusual position. Nobody is quite so sure whether he can play QB in the NFL. Some say yes. Some say no. Some say they have no idea. It is clear he has to ramp up his workouts to improve his NFL cred, and the belief that he can play quarterback in the pros.
