Should Wall Street bailout be included in George Bushs Decision Points?
The former President has released his memoir and closed the book with an explanation of the Wall Street bailout that he approved just before he left office in 2008. Strategists are wondering if it’s better that Bush not mention it at all. At least not now. The book’s promotional video is incredibly timely as midterm elections are only two weeks away. Bush’s memoir video may backfire as a tool to help GOP campaigns across the nation because Congressional Republicans are unable their Wall Street Bail out votes and its devastating effect on the American consumer and economy. Moreover, most people–from media to voters– are rather content to blame the current Obama administration for the country’s financial mess and the job losses after the bailout. Crown Publishers says the memoir actually comes out next month on November 9. 1.5 million copies of the book will run in its first edition. The book’s title is Decision Points.
