Shouldn t I “get in shape” before I meet with the trainer?
• a. Absolutely not! Unfortunately, many people feel this way. Often this is due to fear of appearing weak or out of shape in front of the trainer. Remember, that a good trainer is a true professional whose job is to help you, not judge you. Setting appropriate goals and working with a trainer in the early stages of your workout program will help you get in shape more quickly and safely.
