There are four Skilled Occupation Lists published by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). They are listed in schedules as follows. Schedule 1 SOL – The SOL as it was prior to 1 July 2010 it applies to applicants who had lodge an application pre 1 July 2010 (Occupations are listed in Australian Standard Classification of Occupations (ASCO) Code.) Schedule 2 SOL – The SOL as it existed prior to 1 July 2010 however occupations as listed in the newly adopted Australia and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) Code and applies to transitional arrangements namely international students who on or before 8 February held or had a pending subclass 485 skilled graduate visa. Note applicants under this schedule must lodge their permanent GSM applications before 1 January 2013. Schedule 3 SOL – This is the official new SOL and applies to all new GSM applicants.
