AS: I don’t want to waste valuable time on the Joe Meert accusations and the discussion you are having over the net. You are quite correct in insisting that Joe’s case stands or falls on Dr Alex Cherkinsky producing a copy of his claimed correspondence with me (which we know doesn’t exist). You are also correct in emphasising that in the lab report which came to me there made no mention whatsoever about the sample being unsuitable for radiocarbon analysis. JM: Actually, Cherkinsky can be credited with the impetus for delving further into this issue. As noted, this is not a case of he said, she said. This is a scientific argument and the onus falls squarely on the shoulders of the person overturning the paradigm. Now, Snelling may not like this and he may complain bitterly about it, but he has failed to document his case. I don’t want claims, I want evidence as would any good scientist. It is also important to note (since several have called Cherkinsky’s honesty into question–and mine)
