So, you’re opposed to any plan for NASA exploration except Constellation?
Not at all. We would welcome any plan that keeps NASA on track for exploration. The problem with the administration’s proposal is that it effectively eliminates NASA’s plans for space travel beyond low earth orbit. There is no guarantee that we would ever resume our reach for the Moon and Mars, meaning that the space agency could, once again, spend decades literally going in circles. Constellation is designed with the explicit goal of enabling exploration of the Moon and destinations beyond. And of course, it doesn’t really matter what it’s called, just as long as it’s clearly headed Out There.
