Stylists! How do I lighten dark hair thats been dyed?

I’ve had my hair stripped and its in great condition. And I’m really fussy over my hair, it has to look great! I’d say go with having it stripped. It will save it from being dyed so many times and risk your hair deteriorating gradually over weeks. Also, it doesn’t always come out the exact shade you’ll like, whereas with stripping its quick and easy. Also, after you’ve had your hair done use a really thick conditioner for a few weeks after. I don’t know if you’re from England but if you are Boots has a really good coconut one which comes in a tub or bottle. It’s reasonably priced aswel. good luck, i hope your hair comes out just the way you like it =].

i would lift it with highlights stripping it or dying it all will damage your hair. do blond or light brown highlights to achieve this goal.

Nope. Once you dye it dark, its difficult to get it back to light. And your strong hair now, might be hay-like once they put the strippers through it. Best bet, leave it and it will gradually fade out, especially once you start going outside and hanging out in the sun.
