Yes. However, keep in mind that just because your ancestors were priest do not necessarily follow that you are one as well. All priesthoods are not inheritable. Many are actually pathed for that particular individual family member only. Just as not all priest in the Vodoun (in fact quite the majority) are not necessarily pathed to “initiate, heal” etc.,. These ranks are obtained for many reasons. This is why divination is important.
