Tamil Sangams of North America will boycott Asin Movies.Has Asin bitten off more than what she can chew?
The reality of the ban is a bit different to what it seems. Firstly, most Tamils in North America are of Sri Lankan origin. Hence they find it necessary that they show their opposition to the Sinhalese government in all possible way. This recent incident of banning Asin’s movies is an attempt to isolate Sri Lanka. This is their show of strength so that other actors fear doing it. Whether it would work or not, is for time to answer.
