TARRIF believes that the proposed development fee is grossly inadequate, inequitable, and does not provide for “Pay As You Go” road construction and financing. There is no specific or detailed accountability for the expenditure of road development charges. However, by defeating the road tax ballot propositions and supporting a meager increase in the development charge, voters will send a clear and powerful message to your City Council that development should pay its fair share.
