Dont buy a Mac as they are fairly hard to upgrade. You should build your own computer. What I would get is from Newegg and it would be the fastest comp you have ever owned (and its a good price). Config: ASUS P6T7 LGA 1366 Motherboard - $449.99 Intel Core i7 950 3.06 Ghz - $576.99 IN WIN COMMANDER IRP-COM1200 1200W PSU - $299.99 2x EVGA 017-P3-1295-AR CO-OP Edition GeForce GTX 295 Graphics Cards - $1040 (this is a dual graphics solution to be run in SLi) Corsair Dominator 6GB DDR3 1600 RAM - $159 The rest like the CD drive and hard drive don't really matter just get whatever you like. Whats missing here is a case, CD drive, hard drive, and OS which you may be able to use from an old system. This system has a long way down the road. Once DDR3 gets cheaper upgrade to 12GB RAM. This computer will last you longer more like 5 years if you overclock.  more
