Thanksgiving celebrated in US is the last thursday of November. Why is it on the 2nd last thursday this year?
President Lincoln established Thanksgiving on October 3, 1863. In 1939 FDR changed Thanksgiving from the last Thursday to the fourth Thursday. Below is Lincoln’s Thanksgiving Proclamation.
