The antenna wires are very short. Why so short and do they really work?

Each antenna wire is 1-1/4 long. The 2.4Ghz wavelength is much shorter than 72 mhz and that is the reason the antenna is this short length. It makes mounting the receiver in the model much easier because you don’t have to worry about what to do with the long antenna wire.
