The USB connector on the Sender transmits USB audio from your computer OR you can plug any input into the audio connector on the other end (an iPod, stereo, etc.). The Receiver part is powered by a USB power supply or charger and sends out analog audio. Just keep in mind the AW1 will work anywhere you want to replace an RCA cable or 1/8″ mini-jack cable with wireless! I plan to use 3 pairs of the AW1 in my 5.1 home theater system for both rear channels and a subwoofer. I have separate power amplifiers for each speaker with RCA inputs and my surround receiver has RCA preamp out jacks for each power amplifier. I purchase 3 AW1 Sender/Receiver pairs will they “out of the box” be useing different frequencies in each set to avoid interference with each other? Yes, up to 8 AW1 Sender/Receiver pairs will all play well together as long as you keep a minimum of 4-6″ space between each.
