The cost of batteries is very high and there is still the question of end-of-life disposal. Isn’t this inefficient and unfriendly to the environment?

A3. There will be a choice of sodium or lithium batteries on TH!NK city, provided under our ‘Mobility Pack’ lease programme, where the rental will start at just over £100 per month, so customers will be able to rely on a fixed cost system. At the end of the battery life, we will replace the battery and safely dispose of / recycle the old units. The batteries are still quite expensive but this provides zero risk for our customers. Think is responsible for the battery functioning optimally, and Think will deliver a new battery when needed without any additional costs. It also allows possible “upgrades” to other battery technologies when they become available.
