The Draft Standards do not mandate IAPSRS credentialing, but permit staff with such credentials to fulfill a portion of the professional staffing requirement. Providers not meeting the professional staffing requirements at the time of application for an operating certificate will be allowed a period of transition in order to achieve full compliance.
