The front indicator light on my PowerEdge 2650 server is flashing blue. What does this mean?
The flashing blue light is a locator function so that the system can be identified in a rack. There is a System Identification Button just above and a little to the right of the power button that activates this function. Pressing the System Identification Button again will turn the function off. If you need assistance in finding the System Identification Button, refer to the Dell??? Reboot the server and run the setup program again. Make your required changes to the Boot Sequence, System Password, or Setup Password. Reboot the server.
