The fuel gauge on my 1989 f 150 dont work.what do i need to look for?
You need to look for a toyota 4×4, as the toyota wont have this as well as all the other problems all recall and safety related that your Ford truck is about to have. Change out your complete instrument cluster($650), labor should cost around $450, buy new sending unit, fuel pressure gauge and fuel pump. Add up the total including labor and you will learn that all that money and hard work has greatly surpased the total value of that truck. Just buy a toyota 4×4 and avoid all those headaches. You will only have to worry about filling up with gas instead lol.
