Yes – Guidance contained within National Assembly For Wales Circular 20/2002 – Housing renewal guidance, makes it clear that it is for Social Services departments to decide in each case who should be involved in the assessment procedure in providing advice to the housing department in respect of the relevant works which are necessary and appropriate to meet the needs of the disabled occupant.
