Make sure that the Screen Orientation mode is correct. Screen orientation can be changed by tapping on the arrow button in the toolbar (by default, it is the leftmost button in the Write Anywhere toolbar). You can also use the Advanced property sheet of the CalliGrapher Configuration Manager to disable unused orientations.
