Some imaging equipment manufacturers have included a warning in their guide specs to prevent damage to the electronics that ride in the carriage between the rails. Certain types of diffusers have adjustable vanes that extend below the ceiling that could damage the carriage when it is moved along the rails. Additionally other applications require supplying warm air to the room which could cause the electronics, housed within the carriage, to overheat. The Lami-Air EQ diffusers sit 1/8″ above the ceiling, do not have adjustable vanes, and are only used in cooling applications.
