The new home page for Web of Knowledge looks different. What do the tabs mean – ‘All Databases’, ‘Select a Database’ and ‘Additional Resources’?
The opening page is now ‘All Databases’, which allows you to search across all of the databases to which your institution subscribes. You may see a tab specifically for ‘ Web of Science’ listed next to the ‘Select a Database’ tab. To see the list of all available databases and search in just one of them , click on the ‘Select a Database’ tab. The ‘Additional Resources’ tab the free resources such as ISI Highly Cited and Science Watch, and more. If your institution subscribes to special databases such as Journal Citation Reports or Essential Science Indicators, this is also where they will appear.
