The Notice of Final Action Letter for my land use says that my project may qualify for an exception to the traffic study. What does that mean?
a. As specified in Title 30, 30.52.055 b., a project that is anticipated to generate less than 200 peak hour trips can submit a traffic mitigation letter in lieu of a traffic impact analysis: a. A traffic impact analysis shall be required when: 1. The development is anticipated to generate a minimum of 50 total trips in a peak hour as defined by the most recent version of the Institute of Transportation Engineers Reference Book, Trip Generation, and its most recent updates or by a trip generation study acceptable to the county; or 2. A traffic impact analysis is required by the Commission or Board as a condition of any tentative map, final map or land use application approved pursuant to the requirements of this Title 30. b. Exception.
