The president lives in the White House, but what about the Vice President?
Since 1974 the U.S. Vice-President has lived in a large, white-painted, Victorian house on the southeast corner of 34th Street and Massachusetts Avenue in the District of Columbia. It is located on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory. The official title of the home is “The Admiral’s House”. This information was found inThe House on Observatory Hill by Gail S. Cleere. Washington D.C.: U.S. Naval Observatory. 1989.
