The program displayed an unusual/unexpected message or crashed (stopped running) while I was using it. Whats the problem?
A. That is rare. Here are assorted things you can try to resolve the problem: • If you get “error 13” upon startup, it may be due to international settings that employ a comma as the decimal point. This has been fixed in EBP version 1.4. If you have an older version, in your copy of Windows go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Standards and formats and change the setting to English (United States). • Shut down the computer, restart it, and run EBP first. If EBP works, that means some other software was interfering with EBP. • Run a virus check on your computer. • Temporarily turn off your virus checker and restart EBP. • Check if your problem is known and has been fixed: see the version history page. • Reinstall EBP from a fresh download; if you had installed EBP into into a subdirectory of its own, first delete that subdirectory • Reinstall the VBRUN drivers: download VBRUN60.EXE (approx. 1000k) and run it • Explore what is “unusual” about your computer’s configurat
