Theists; What are your thoughts on Epicuruss quote about God?

It’s not up to God to fix the problems we have created. It is up to us. That is the bottom line. It will always be the bottom line, no matter what kind of rationally irrational thinking we play with. However logical it does not take into context how God works. Those statements assume God “fixes things for humanity.” It is not up to God to fix humanity. It is up to humanity to fix humanity. The focus is not on why God does not or does. The focus is on why we do or do not. Get what I mean? It’s not us to focus on God for this, it is God who focus’ on US. And that is exactly what I would have told Epicurus.

You’re right and you’re wrong. God is willing and able. God already did something about evil. He sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us. And God is still doing something about evil. God has a plan of salvation that is not fully completed until the return of his Son Jesus Christ. We have free will to choose either the good or the bad. God gave us free will because he wants us to freely love him. Love that is forced is not love. But love that is freely given and freely received is love. If we choose to do evil then how can we blame God for it?
