If you previously had pictures, but lost them after using the setup-menu system, you may have inadvertently selected the progressive scan video output without having a video display device or TV that is capable of displaying a progressive scan signal. This can easily be fixed by pressing the Stop button, then pressing it again and holding it for five seconds before releasing it. Then, turn off the unit, and wait a few seconds. When the unit is turned back on, the video output will be restored to the standard setting and may be viewed using either the composite or S-Video connection.
