Davis maintains club memberships at several courses near his home in coastal Georgia. He’s a member (and the official touring professional) of the Sea Island Golf Club, which is a 54-hole complex including a design of his own, called the Retreat Course. He’s also a member of Ocean Forest Golf Club, a Rees Jones design on Sea Island, and the newly opened Frederica Golf Club, a Tom Fazio design from 2005, close by his St. Simon’s Island home. He’s also a member of Hampton Island, about halfway between his Golden Isles home and Savannah, where he is the designer-of-record at the Ricefields Course, scheduled to open in 2007.
