A homemade coupon booklet with services that you will provide like: 1- free car wash, 1-free baby-sitting day, 1-free valet grocery shopping service. Make out a total of 12 (that you’d actually be willing to do) and present them to her. She’ll get a kick out of it and she’ll have 12 months to use her “hubby coupons”.
It depends on your budget. You could book a weekend getaway for just the two of you. I was very pregnant on my last Birthday and therefore we knew that our budget would be quite small for the months to come.(paying for the hospital, the babythings one needs etc.) My husband took me out to a nice restaurant. We did the whole dressing up nice thing (as nice as one can dress 9months pregnant) and had a really nice dinner. I enjoyed that very much, I have found that eversince we are married material gifts aren’t so important for me anymore, I actually enjoy a gift where I get to have a good time with my husband, like an evening at the theater, a concert, a vacation. But flowers are in my opinion a must. Bring her her favorite flowers.
