I took both my kids swimming before they were a year old, and nothing ever happened to them. Your baby WILL BE FINE!!!!!! In fact because my kids were introduced to the pool at an early age, they now LOVE the water. They are not scared. They even LOVE taking baths!! BUT you HAVE to teach water safety!! Start now and keep it up so it is nothing new when the baby gets older and can understand a little better.
