Was alcohol hidden in corpses during prohibition?
I wouldn’t put any faith in the theory. People tend to romanticize historic events and time periods. Really, there were still bars. Mostly in big cities, they were usually run by very powerful people, and the cops tended to look the other way. Also, alcohol was available overseas. Maybe do a little research in the prohibition years at the library. (I don’t suggest the internet as it is full of opinionated armatures).
