Was Charlotte the only freightie to have a bullet proof vest on?
I was thinking about Ben emptying that gun into Charlotte and if she hadn’t been wearing a bullet-proof vest she’d be dead. I can’t recall any of the other three wearing one. So it makes you wonder if the island did a little intervention to save Charlotte, because if Charlotte had died then, she couldn’t have told everyone later about the Well and Locke wouldn’t have looked for it or climbed down it. Like I said earlier in a theory, if you compare the ships doctor’s washing up on shore at the same time Keamy was attacking the barracks [which was way before Keamy actually killed the doctor] it appears the island’s time line was running ahead of Keamy’s and by extension, the real world’s time line. Keamy killing the doctor was an off-island event coupled with an on-island event. But if you had two on-island events involving someone who is in sync with the island time line and someone who isn’t and is going by their own personal time line that’s behind the island’s time line, it’s possibl
